Corinth real estate is located on both sides of the Nafta Highway between Dallas and Denton in Denton County, Texas. The City of Corinth is a dichotomy of beautiful rural ranch areas and the quickly expanding commercial/light industrial business areas. This combination has helped the city's population explode over the past several years and it shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
History of Corinth
Founded in 1880 by the Dallas/Witchita Railway (who subsequently gave the city its name), Corinth was originally a farming community when the railroad came through. The boom of economic evolution that occurred in the surrounding area in the 1970s brought an increase in the number of businesses and residents flocking to the city. This increase has continued ever since. In fact, Corinth experienced an increase in population of over 410% from 1990-2002. This was due in large part to the economic growth of the city and its surrounding areas. While a few farmers still till the land, most of Corinth's inhabitants commute to nearby cities for work.
